英语中数字表示方法

　　小数和分数：

　　 zero point one seven / point seventeen / zero point seventeen

　　1/2 one half

　　大于100的数字：

　　101 one hundred (and ) one

　　200 two hundred

　　在英语中上面括弧中的and一般不能省略;而在美国英语中却往往省去。请分析下面的对话：

　　英美等国的出版社在排版时遵循一条原则，即1至10用单词表示，10以上的数目用**数字(也有的以100为界限)，这条原则值得我们借鉴。

　　4在英语中怎样读大数

　　首先,英语数字都是以1000为单位的,thousand(千),million(百万),billion(十亿).比如1 234 567 890要读成one billion,two hundred thirty-four million,five hundred sixty-seven thousand,eight hundred 有点特殊的是 2600 可以读成 twenty-six hundred关于什么时候加and,如果 相邻的两位数字不是零的话,and都是可以省去不读的;如果出现零一般都得读出.比如：1405 one thousand 4hundred and five,305 400 three hundred and five thousand (and)four 以上两个没加括号的两个and是不能省的.出现零也可以不读出的情况只有200 300 two hundred thousand (and)three hundred所以最开始的1234567890这个大数每一处都可以加and,只是这样不连贯,英语本土人一般都会把它省掉.我们自己读的话都加上其实也没错的,毕竟我们也很难说到像他们那么流利,加上and能增加我们思考和组织话语的时间.
